The 94th Board Meeting of the Universal Service Fund (USF) was held on October 4th, 2024, chaired by Mr. Zarrar Hasham Khan, Secretary, Ministry of IT and Telecommunication. The meeting was notable as the new Chair of the Board was warmly welcomed by both Board members and USF management. Due to prevailing road closures, the Chair joined the meeting online, ensuring active participation despite the circumstances.

The session provided a platform for high-level discussions focused on USF’s ongoing commitment to expanding connectivity and bridging the digital divide across Pakistan. An important agenda item was the review and approval of the third-party audited financial statements, underscoring the organization’s commitment to transparency and accountability. Additionally, key initiatives were reviewed, reaffirming USF’s dedication to enhancing digital inclusion and improving telecommunication services in underserved areas.
